On Saturday, September 12th, Rack House Fitness hosted Endurance for a Cure, a PMC takeover workout raising funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The Workout

Starting at 5:45 AM, a new heat took off every 30 minutes, with 5 teams of 2 tackling an endurance-focused workout that took everyone outside the gym and outside their comfort zone.

Why We Ride

Every dollar raised went toward Coach Pete's fundraising goal and his PMC "why we ride" mission. "The PMC's mission is to raise funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber — and 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to Dana-Farber. This workout is our way of bringing that mission to life and into the gym." — Coach Pete

Why We Fitness

Before the event, members wrote the names of people special to them who have been affected by cancer on our "Why We Fitness" board. Every heat worked in their honor. Together, we raised over $5000 for Dana-Farber.

Thank you to everyone who donated, signed up, and showed up. Showing up is showing support.
