RYAN GIL
COACH & HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY TEACHER
Ryan is a natural-born teacher. Before he ever stepped onto a gym floor, he spent years in a high school history classroom and on the soccer sideline, learning that the best teaching isn't about having all the answers — it's about asking the right questions. The instinct that drove him there is the same one that makes him exceptional as a coach: he genuinely loves the moment something clicks for someone.
Ryan has a gift for reading a room and meeting people exactly where they are, whether that's a brand-new athlete nervous about their first class or a seasoned competitor chasing a PR. He presents information in a way that's approachable and actionable for every level — breaking down the why behind the work so that athletes don't just do the movements, they understand them.
What makes Ryan special is the combination of warmth and credibility he brings to every session. He laughs easily, coaches openly, and creates an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks. He also leads by example in the most literal sense — he's up at 5:30am working on his own fitness, competing in CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting at a high level, and holding himself to the same standard he sets for the people he coaches. Ryan has qualified for the Masters Fitness Collective as both an individual and team competitor and earned a national qualifying spot in USA Weightlifting after winning his age and weight group at the 2025 New England WSO Championship.
