LAUREN HICKS
COACH & DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY
Lauren came to strength and conditioning early and never left. She spent six years as a strength and conditioning coach at Mike Boyle’s during high school and college — one of the most respected performance facilities in the country — and that foundation shaped everything that followed. She went on to earn her degree in Exercise Science from Springfield College, spent years working in physical therapy clinics with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, and then did something that takes real conviction: she left the security of a clinic job to build her own cash-based physical therapy practice from the ground up.
As CrossFit coach with over eight years of experience, Lauren brings a clinical eye to everything she does on the gym floor. She spots faults early, corrects them with precision, and understands exactly why the body moves the way it does. But she delivers all of that with an energy that keeps the room fun and the vibe high — because intentional movement doesn't have to feel like a clinic visit.
What drives Lauren is the long game. She coaches with longevity in mind, helping athletes at every age and ability build movement patterns they can sustain for years. Whether you're a competitive athlete chasing performance or someone who just wants to keep doing the things you love without breaking down, Lauren is the coach who sets you up to stay in the game — consistently, confidently, and for the long haul.
Outside the gym: Lauren is happiest with her family — whether that’s catching a game, traveling, or finding the next adventure. She’s the kind of person who shows up fully wherever she is, and her athletes feel that every time she coaches
